Abk Energy

ABK formed JV with Danish enXco leading global renewable energy consulting company; first measurements started in 6 sites (1 in Soke and 1 in Cesme; 4 in rest of Turkey) in 2000. enXco (bought by France in 2002) pulled out of the project during the economic crisis in Turkey; ABK continued with measurements in Söke and Çeşme. As a result SokeCatalbuk became The longest measured project of Turkey.

49 year generation license issued by EMRA and Mar ‘08 – Grid connection agreement signed with TEİAŞ for distribution of generated electricity for Soke Çatalbuk WPP.

30 MW installed capacity of SokeCatalbuks wind turbines are provided by the Gamesa Corp. G90 2.00 MW.
The construction, erection, permission of the Ministry and the transmission line of the 30 MW project was totally completed then the plant had started to generate electricty from 06 Jan,2012.
